The Delaware County “Good Scout” Award is presented to an individual who exemplifies in his or her daily life the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. The recipient is chosen for outstanding service to the community at large, as well as the respect and esteem in which he or she is held by those in the community.

This event brings together leaders from the construction and real estate, health and pharmaceutical, communications and media, and legal and consulting industries to recognize leaders in their fields.

This dinner honors an individual from the Upper Montgomery County Community with the “Good Scout” Award. The award is given to individuals that live their life and lead their organizations through the ideals of the Scout Law. The Scout Law is a series of core values that we teach our youth that include words such as trustworthy, loyal, helpful, friendly, courteous and kind.

The Lehigh Valley Sporting Clays facility has 17-station Sporting Clays course is set around a 125-acre abandoned quarry that offers an unparalleled atmosphere and a truly unique shooting experience. Proceeds from this event directly support the council’s After-School Scouting Program.

This reception honors distinguished individuals from the technology, life sciences, and venture capital communities with the "Good Scout" Award. This recognition is presented to industry leaders who exemplify the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law in their daily life. Recipients are chosen for their outstanding community service as evidenced by their leadership to many worthwhile organizations, as well as the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues.
