Support Scouting

Although it is a GREAT day to be a Scout, these are certainly difficult times for all of us. We are all dealing with the stresses and struggles of business and school closures and the strains of stay at home orders. It is our hope that the virtual programs presented by the volunteers and staff of the Cradle of Liberty Council will provide some relief from those strains and an escape from the stresses and struggles in our everyday lives. During these challenging times, the Cradle of Liberty Council finds itself at a loss of very much needed financial support due to an inability to conduct Friends of Scouting presentations, special event fundraisers, cancellation of activities and closure of our camps for weekend usage this spring. For that reason, we ask that if you are able, please consider making a contribution to the Cradle of Liberty Emergency Sustainability Fund to help ensure that our council will be able to continue delivering the Scouting program and provide the service you need in new and creative ways during these very challenging times. Thank you! Stay safe and healthy.

Secure the Adventure Fund

The annual Friends of Scouting campaign provides Scouters, parents, alumni, businesses, and community members with an opportunity to support the programs and facilities of the Cradle of Liberty Council.

The true cost of Scouting is much greater than what local dues or event and camping fees cover. Yearly registration fees directly support the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America and help provide program development and research, literature and other resources. The Friends of Scouting Campaign gives individuals and businesses the opportunity to contribute to the Cradle of Liberty Council at a level of their own choosing according to their interest and ability to give.
