Boy Scouts of America – Cradle of Liberty Council

Vision Statement on Diversity, Equity and Inclusion

This Vision Statement states where we wish to be in the future, not where we are yet.

The Cradle of Liberty Council will be a model of diversity, equity and inclusion for all key stakeholders:

youth, adult volunteers and staff.

– We will be a diverse organization of many young members, volunteer adult leaders and staff who reflect the communities we serve.

– We will provide equity of opportunities and reduce barriers to participation in all activities and programs of our Scouting organization.

– We will exemplify inclusivity by welcoming all adults and youth in our community who share the values that are contained in the Scout Oath and Law.
