The Council-Wide Roundtable (formerly known as Council Program Launch), was held on Monday, August 23rd at Camp Garrison. On this rainy evening, over 200 Scouters converged to learn about improvements and additions to this upcoming Scouting Year. Below, you will find three sections of documents, Council, Cub Scout, and Boy Scout. We invite you to check out these documents and links, especially if a representative from your unit was unable to attend. he evening

Recruit This Year Using E-vite
Last year we partnered with E-vite to create an Open-House friendly electronic invitation. The concept was for units to use the template, which comes with customizable colors and pictures, to invite their current unit members to the Open-House, and to have them invite their friends to the Open-House.
Units who used the tool experienced an increase in attendance at their Open-Houses. You can always access this tool by clicking the evite icon located on the right side of the home page. This tool has been so successful that Units and Districts have begun using the tool for other events such as Blue and Golds, Training events, and more.

BeAScout.org Has A New Face!
BeAScout.org, a tool developed by some of our local councils (including the Cradle of Liberty), has been adopted as the National Online Recruiting Tool by the National Council of the Boy Scouts of America! Over the next few months, Scout Units across this nation will begin using this tool to speak directly to the parents and guardians of future Scouts.
We would like to thank you for your use of beAscout.org since it was released and your constant feedback as to how we could improve this tool. We have passed on many of your comments to the National Council and are proud to announce that this newly released tool adds some highly desired features to this already powerful recruiting tool.
We invite you to explore this new release of the beAscout.org tool by first reading our "Resource Guide." There are some steps that you will need to go through before you are able to access your leads. If you experience any problems with this new tool, please contact your District Executive for additional assistance.

Silver Beaver Award Nomination
The Silver Beaver Award is the highest national award presented by a local council to individuals for noteworthy service of exceptional character to youth. Each local council may present only a limited number of Silver Beavers each year, which makes this a very prestigious award for those whose record of service to youth is most outstanding!
